Ms. Summerville graduated from the University of Southern California (B.A., Journalism, 1984) and the University of California, Los Angeles (J.D., 1991). She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991.

Ms. Summerville is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association.

Ms. Summerville limits her practice to family law.
