J. Benedict (“Ben”) Phillips was born in Orange, California in 1975. He presently resides with his wife and their daughter in Irvine, California.
Mr. Phillips has litigation experience in a variety of Family Law matters including child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, marital agreements, domestic violence and fiduciary duty issues.
Mr. Phillips is a member of the prestigious Robert Banyard Inn of Court, the Celtic Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Phillips practices exclusively Family Law, and has participated in two successful appellate cases including the seminal case on marital separation, In Re Marriage of Manfer (2006) 144 Cal.App.4th 925.
Mr. Phillips graduated from the University of California, Davis and from Chapman University School of Law. During law school, he was recognized for outstanding oral advocacy and brief writing as a competing member of the Moot Court Honors Board.
Prior to law school, Mr. Phillips worked in custom software development and business process consulting. He assisted several Fortune 500 companies including Sony Corporation and Amgen with the design and implementation of software applications to streamline business processes. Mr. Phillips's professional background has proven invaluable in his Family Law practice, where he regularly deals with complex business issues in marital dissolution proceedings. |
